Boulder Solar is slated to be dropped down to 8point3 Energy Partners, the yieldco California-based SunPower launched last month with long-time US rival First Solar.
SunPower acquired the project earlier this year from KOMIPO America Inc., a subsidiary of Korea Midland Power Co., which operates a range of power plants in South Korea – including renewables – and does EPC work globally.
