Houston-based Sunnova, which provides residential solar leases or power purchase agreements through a network of local installers, says it has raised more than $1.2bn in capital in the past three years. The company was founded in 2012.
ECP joins Franklin Square Capital Partners and Triangle Peak Partners as equity stakeholders in Sunnova, which is backed in significant part by oil and gas investors.
