The 97MW portfolio of developments, underwritten by German investment bank Bayerische Landesbank through a £84.6m ($126m) non-recourse loan, includes eight solar farms in England and Wales, varying in size from 6MW to 19MW, and together flowing enough power to supply 30,000 homes.
Electricity from the projects, which were grid-connected during the first quarter, is being sold to EDF Energy under a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with SunEdison.
