Ilan Daskal, presently interim chief financial officer at product engineering services company Aricent, will become SunEdison’s chief financial officer “designee” and executive vice president by 4 April, the embattled US company announced Friday.
Brian Wuebbels, SunEdison’s current CFO, will remain in his position “until Daskal and SunEdison agree to remove the designee title”.
SunEdison has delayed posting its 2015 annual results amid internal probes into its financial position, following a nine-month period in which the company saw its stock price crash through the floor, investors turn sour on its management, and a barrage of legal actions taken against it following a string of failed or abandoned deals.
