SunEdison signed the deals with Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company and Hubli Electricity Supply Company, said the Hindu.
The PPAs follow the US developer’s success in a 500MW tender run by the state earlier this year.
The 150MW of capacity in Karnataka will remain under ownership by SunEdison or its yieldcos.
Karnataka plans to build 1GW of solar capacity over the next 18 months, the report added.
