Under the acquisition, announced in April , SunEdison paid $347m to Atlantic Power for five wind farms across Idaho and Oklahoma, including the nearly 300MW Canadian Hills in Oklahoma.
The deal takes Atlantic Power, a Massachusetts-based independent power producer, out of the wind-generation business altogether.
The projects will eventually be dropped down into SunEdison's yieldco, TerraForm Power, with the first additions expected in the second half of 2016.
