SunEdison will use Solaria’s technology to mass produce its new “Zero White Space” line of crystalline-silicon modules, minimising the amount of unproductive white space surrounding each cell. The modules are targeted at the rooftop PV market.
By using Solaria’s manufacturing technology, SunEdison will be able to get the modules to market more quickly, says Bang Nguyen, SunEdison’s vice president of solar materials operations.
