SunEdison on Monday said that it has confidentially submitted a draft registration statement for the as-yet-unnamed yieldco to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
The yieldco will focus on “contracted clean power generation assets in attractive, high-growth emerging markets”, principally Asia (excluding Japan) and Africa.
SunEdison gave no indication of how much it intends to raise, or how much it might get for shares.
