SPI will but the plants from local group TBEA Xinjiang Sunoasis, which is developing the plants in regions including Gansu Province, Xinjiang Region, Inner Mongolia Region and Qinghai Province.
The plants are all due to be connected to the grid by the end of next year.
SPI Solar, which is backed by LDK Solar and has activities encompassing development and EPC, has this year signed a string of agreements in the global PV market spanning China, Japan and Europe.
