In the first six months of the year SolarWorld saw it sales volume swell to 239 megawatts, up 26% compared to the same period last year.
That increase in sales volume has helped offset a steep decline in prices, the company says. SolarWorld’s first-half revenues fell 5.9% compared to last year, to €427m. Its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) dropped 30%, to €83m.
