The plant at Lechinta, Transylvania, was built in four weeks by engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor Egnatia Romania for a local investment group.
It is one of the first half-dozen or so PV installations to be connected in Romania, according to the contractor.
The plant uses SolarWorld modules and Power-One inverters.
