Singapore-based module group REC said it will bid for part of the 800MW up for grabs at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai. REC and asset management group Viridis have submitted an expression of interest to Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).The Chinese-owned company claimed its modules are well equipped to survive the heat and sandstorms prevalent in Dubai.
