Kyocera has agreed to supply PV modules for a 17MW solar project that a subsidiary of Japan Asia Group will develop on a 20.3-hectare plot of land north of Tokyo. JAG Energy has revealed plans to finish building the array near the town of Mibu, Tochigi prefecture, by March 2017.  Tokyo-based Toko Denko will handle EPC duties. The project will annually generate enough electricity for roughly 5,130 homes, according to an online statement.
