United Photovoltaics and China Merchants New Energy (CMNE) have struck a three-year strategic cooperation agreement with CITIC Financial Leasing. As part of the deal, United Photovoltaics has secured a 10bn yuan ($1.5bn) credit line to invest in PV projects, including specialised lease arrangements and securitisation services, according to a statement on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
PV cell manufacturer Tainergy Tech will raise its annual production capacity in Vietnam from 200MW to 600MW in the second half of 2016, according to reports.
