United Photovoltaics has acquired a 20MW solar project in western China. The company has purchased a 100% stake in Wujiaqu Lishang Photovoltaics Power, which owns the project in Wujiaqu, in China’s remote Xinjiang region. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Wujiaqu Lishang is now a wholly owned subsidiary of United Photovoltaics, according to a statement to the hong Kong stock exchange.
