Kyocera and three other partners have revealed plans to install 14.5MW of solar in western Japan. The Kyoto-based conglomerate will start building the project this month northwest of the city of Kobe in Hyogo prefecture, in cooperation with property firm Century Tokyo Leasing and Mitsubishi Research Institute. Yonden Engineering — which is based in Takamatsu, on the Japanese island of Shikoku — will also participate.
