Soitec said it has agreed to sell its solar systems business – including equipment manufacturing plants in San Diego, US and Freiburg, Germany – to ConcenSolar, a privately-owned “business partner” of China-based Suncore.
ConcenSolar CEO Charlie Wang said: “Combining our experience of solar project development and financing capability from our established financing partners, this acquisition further strengthens our position to provide the most cost-effective solar power solutions for our utility-scale customers.”
