Their joint venture, SB Energy, will build the plant in the Ghani Sakunala Solar Park, in the southeastern state of Andhra Pradesh, according to an online statement.
The project will be the first under SB Energy’s plan to invest $20bn in 20GW of renewables capacity in India.
