It shipped 537MW of solar in the second quarter, up 49.5% from the April-June period, but PV shipments edged down 0.7% on the year in the first half to 897MW.
Group net sales rose 14.2% in the second quarter from the preceding three-month period to ¥707.9bn.
It partly attributed the first-half sales decline in its energy solutions unit to the weakness of its overseas developer business.
