The deal makes Abdul Latif Jameel the Gulf’s largest PV developer, said a statement announcing FRV’s acquisition from the investment groups that previously owned it.
FRV owns a global portfolio including 370MW of projects under construction in Australia, Brazil, Uruguay and Egypt.
Its Australian assets include the 72MW Moree PV plant, set to be among the nation’s largest when it enters operation later this year.
