The BNDES Funtec fund offers non-refundable financing for innovative projects to research and technology centres and companies that partner for specific projects, including green energy, fighting climate change and other sustainability issues.
Among initiatives that can be financed are the development of solar semiconductors, including for praphene and organic panels, silicon purification processes, batteries for PV arrays and developing products using metals such as lithium, niobium and rare-earth minerals, some of which are used in wind and solar manufacturing.
