At the helm of Zep Solar, the maker of fast-install PV mounting systems, Miskovsky negotiated the company’s $158m sale last year to SolarCity.
QBotix, which counts E.ON and Iberdrola among its financial backers, claims its robotic tracking system lowers the levelised cost of energy for large PV systems by up to 20% compared to fixed-axis installations.
“The experience of the last four years has shown me that the balance of system is where project costs are being driven down most,” says Miskovsky.
