SolarTech Universal is known to be building a module factory in Riviera Beach, Florida, but few other details are available regarding the New York-based company.
On Monday Meyer Burger, among the world’s largest suppliers of PV production equipment, said it had nabbed a deal with SolarTech Universal to install its first SmartWire Connection Technology (SWCT) module line in the US.
The fabrication line is set to begin production in the second quarter of 2015, Meyer Burger says.
