The levelised cost of energy (LCOE) for new ground-based solar arrays in Bavaria next year will vary between €0.087 ($0.11) and €0.094 per kilowatt hour, compared to €0.088 per kWh for onshore wind, says the study The Future of the Bavarian Electricity Supply by analyst Prognos, commissioned by developer Belectric.
