The amount of solar PV added in the fourth quarter likely will be equivalent to all installations deployed in 2010, and will ensure that the PV industry approaches an annual installation level of 50GW this year.
The record additions will be driven in large part by China, where Q4 demand is forecast to exceed 7GW, 10% more than in the year-earlier quarter.
