Rame Energy – already active in Chile’s wind sector – is targeting Q4 2015 production from a 2.5MW first phase of the ground-mount project in northern Chile, with a potential 17.5MW more to follow.
Recharge first revealed in July this year that London-listed Rame was plotting an entry into the fast-growing PV market in Chile, where the company said it can extract roughly double the average output of a solar plant at home in the UK.
