Bregentved Estates has submitted plans to municipal authorities for the plant on 155 hectares of farmland in Faxe municipality, in the east of the country.
The plant – capable of supplying about 28,500 homes with electricity – would dwarf Denmark's largest solar installation to date, the 2.1MW Danfos Solar Park, which went online in February 2014 and is the biggest PV plant in the Nordic region.
