Phoenix says it will support iRES in its established operations as a consultant, system integrator and, from this spring, distributor of PV components. It will also act as the Turkish group’s exclusive partner in building larger projects.
The two companies say they are already engaged in “initial negotiations” for projects in excess of 500kW.
Based in an Istanbul suburb, iRES was set up 15 years ago by Ates Ugurel, who was also a founder of the Turkish Solar Energy Industry Association.
