A feasibility study on the project will soon be under way, according to Oman’s economic minister, Mohammed al-Khusaibi.
A survey conducted last year found that Oman’s potential for solar power is among the highest in the world, with the ability to meet all its domestic electricity requirements and generate excess green electricity for export.
