The Massachusetts projects – located in the towns of Lunenburg, Whatley and Hadley – will generate net metering credits for NuGen.
Taken together, the projects represent the largest-ever solar-panel order on the US East Coast for China’s BYD. BYD has won a number of major orders in developing countries in recent months, including a 65MW deal with Fotowatio Renewable Ventures in Uruguay and a 50MW project in India.
