Scatec signed an agreement to build and operate three 50MW plants with Pakistan’s Nizam Energy, with a second phase envisaging the same capacity again.
The partners said the total 300MW would cost about $600m to build, with the first-phase projects expected to enter construction in the first quarter of next year.
Pakistan’s Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) will buy the power generated from the plants under a 25-year deal.
