FPL, the third largest US power utility, will build the capacity at three rural sites chosen for their “built-in advantages”, including proximity to transmission and substation infrastructure.
One of the three 74MW projects will be built in adjacent to the 25MW DeSoto PV project in central Florida, currently FPL's largest PV asset.FPL will also add several megawatts of smaller-scale capacity, including a handful of community solar plants.
