Martifer is acting as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for a growing list of ground-mounted PV arrays going up in Ukraine, which analysts expect to add as much as 400MW of capacity this year.
3W, a subsidiary of AEG Power Solutions, recently opened a factory in Ukraine to meet the country’s 15% local-content requirement for PV projects.
3W will supply Martifer with central inverters, transformers, switchgear, containerised outdoor stations, and other kit integral to PV power plants – with initial shipments going to two PV arrays totaling 5.25MW
