BP Solar and enXco will construct, operate and maintain their projects and are required to have them in full operation by mid-2011.
BP Solar will provide 32 megawatts of power from multi-crystalline photovoltaic panels to be ground-mounted at the US Energy Department’s Brookhaven National Laboratory on Long Island. Construction is expected to get underway in spring 2010
The project is one of the largest for BP Solar in the US, company spokesman Pete Resler tells Recharge.
