London-based Lightsource will invest “several hundred million euros” over the next five years in both ground-mounted solar farms as well as rooftops across Ireland, a spokesman tells Recharge.
“Lightsource is committing significant financial investment and resource towards realising this opportunity,” says Lightsource chief executive Nick Boyle.
“Any risks associated with the development of these solar projects, including installation costs, will be borne by Lightsource,” he says.
