The firm posted a net loss for the quarter of $155.1m after recording a write-down of $216.7m, coming in far below analysts’ expectations. During the same period last year LDK recorded a profit of $46.7m.
The loss was even lower than the revised guidance LDK's gave in January when it said it would lose between $135-$145m for the quarter.
Sales in the fourth quarter plunged 21.3%
