Kyocera to build world's largest floating PV project near Tokyo

Ciel et Terre will supply its Hydrelio floating platforms, Neige Breant — a Tokyo-based business development executive for the French company — tells Recharge.

Kyocera TCL Solar, the Kyoto-based group’s joint venture with property firm Century Tokyo Leasing, will build the project at the Yamakura dam in Ichihara, Chiba prefecture, near Tokyo.

The project — nearly twice as big as a 7.5MW
