JinkoSolar in 1GW framework deal with China Minsheng New Energy

A strategic co-operation deal will see CMNE purchase the modules this year and in 2016, said a statement from the latter.

At least 600MW of the business will be done this year, it added, with specific terms still to be agreed.

According to JinkosSolar, CMNE – a clean-energy vehicle set up by China Minsheng Investment Corp (CMIC) – is destined to become a major operator of renewables in the country, thanks to its parent group’s plan to pump 200bn yuan ($32bn) into 20GW of projects over the next five years.
