The project in Jinchang will become one of Asia's largest PV power plants, requiring total investment of around 2bn yuan ($320m).
Jinko did not disclose how much it will put into in the project, but investor relations director Sebastian Liu says Jinchuan will hold the majority share.
The project has been approved by the Gansu government and is expected to be completed and connected to the grid by June 2013.
