Based in Tokyo, the Toshiba Mitsubishi Industrial Systems Corporation (TMEIC) is among the world’s fastest growing suppliers of PV inverters, thanks to the strength of the Japanese solar market.
Under the banner of a new US-based subsidiary, TMEIC says it will be making PV inverters in Houston within the next month or two, and will kick off production of medium-voltage variable frequency drives from the same facility next year.
