The latest data from the Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association (JPEA) suggests that total shipments for the fiscal year to 31 March, 2016, will fall well below the 9.87GW delivered in fiscal 2014.
In the October-December 2015 period, shipments of solar panels fell to 2.08GW, down roughly 385MW from the same period a year earlier, according to the JPEA.
Domestic shipments accounted for about of 1.76GW
