Over the past few years JA has successfully diversified from its core competency as a cell maker into module production, and is now one of the world’s largest suppliers.
The company shipped 2.4GW of modules last year, including those it made for other OEMs, as well as 651MW of cells.
By comparison, Trina Solar, the world’s largest module supplier, shipped 3.7GW of modules last year.
