The new plant in Xingtai, Hebei province, is claimed to boast an output of 2MW per-head, which JA Solar said puts it in the front rank of global solar industry productivity, with the assembly lines, test benches and warehousing all co-located.
It will produce 60- and 72-cell modules based on JA Solar’s high-efficiency Percium cells, with the production lines capable of switching between standard or double-glass versions.
