They will offer the home-use battery — which can be used with most Japanese-made PV modules and some fuel cells — through Itochu's Itochu Enex unit.
The system will retail in Japan for 2.4 million yen ($20,125).
Tokyo-based Itochu now offers home-use, portable and utility-scale storage battery systems.
