SolarWorld Americas – the US arm of Germany's SolarWorld, and owner of the largest PV factory in the Western Hemisphere – has spent the past three years at the centre of two high-profile US trade cases brought against Chinese PV manufacturers.
In both trade cases – the first decided in 2012 and the second last year – the US Commerce Department ultimately sided with SolarWorld.
