IFC – part of the World Bank Group – aims to help mobilise about $750m to build the Rewa Ultra-Mega Power project after signing an agreement with the Madhya Pradesh government.
The state has earmarked about 1,300 hectares of land for Rewa, and Power Grid Corporation is building a substation on the site.
