It wrapped up the order to Jiangsu-based renewables developer Haike Engineering in November, for a ground-mount project in Dunhuang, Gansu province.
It did not reveal the terms of the deal.
Jay Seo, SolarOne’s chief financial officer, said in an online statement that the Chinese market accounted for roughly 30% of its global shipments in the third quarter.
“The fourth quarter will also be characterised by a strong showing in the China market,” he added.
