The company has expressed interest in cooperating with the authorities in Thua Thien-Hue province on the development of a 100MW to 200MW array, according to a statement on the provincial government’s website.
The proposed project — which is still in the early stages of development — is broadly in line with Hanoi’s plans to increase investment in renewables.
The provincial authorities have vowed to support the proposal and plan to launch feasibility studies in the near future, but did not disclose additional details.
