Feed-in tariff based support for installations of between 40kW and 1MW capacity will remain at €0.1109 ($0.1265) per kilowatt hour of produced electricity, the same level valid since September 2015. Smaller installations will receive slightly higher support.
A total of 1.367GW of solar capacity was added in Germany in the twelve months up to February 2016, below the 2.4-6GW government-set target corridor and not enough to trigger an automatic degression in support.
