The facility will be France's largest PV plant when it is completed. Construction and operation of the plant will be carried out by a project company made up of GDF Suez and two financial partners: EuroFideme 2 (Natixis Environnement & Infrastructure) and SEIEF (Dexia).
GDF Suez says it has a portfolio of PV solar projects of around 200 MW, as art of its aim of having 10,000 MW in power production from diversified sources by 2013.
